Interesting episode, especially the part about Olivia dealing with Sam at the bowling alley and his unusual brand of occupational therapy! As for the crime ... art imitating life or the other way around? I just heard on NPR the other day about a suicide bomber who had swallowed the explosives, thus turning himself into a bomb. Not quite the same as changing your entire body chemistry, but, as they say, you are what you eat. Who is on the fringe, now?
