Episode 105- "Fever"

The intention: all 6000+ fans tune in at one time to watch the same show.
1. Crash their server.
2. Log high numbers of viewers watching on CBS rather than on the television screen.
Send a message.
Someone told CBS.
I have been informed that CBS was informed of our plan ahead of time.
Why is this a problem?
1. CBS had the opportunity to increase server capacity. (Therefore no crash)
2. What if the turn out were small? (Then CBS, having been previously informed would think we have small numbers and are ineffectual as a group)
The only way we are going to be able to affect change is in numbers. A cohesive unit.
The person who told CBS ahead of time may have gained the temporary favor of CBS, but what is the point of being the star if there is no show to blog about?
The only way we are going to affect change is banding together. The fans of Jericho were able to act as a cohesive unit and get a canceled show renewed.
This is a time for action. Cohesive, unified action. Moonlight fandom United.
This is not a time for individual power-plays and stardom.
As for "blacking out the night", well, if you have a Nielson box in your home, please black out CBS.
These are statistical, not actual numbers. If you do not have a Nielson box, they do not know what you are watching.
They DO know what you TiVo.
They DO get your letters and emails.
Here is MY challenge to you:
1. copy one of your episodes, give it to a friend who has not watched Moonlight (earn a new viewer)
2. On April 11, throw a party. Invite at least one person who has never seen Moonlight to watch with you when the episode returns.
3. Call up a friend and watch Moonlight with them ~ You can talk to them through the phone while you both watch and infect them with enthusiasm.
4. Write and Email CBS
5. Keep your online comments POSITIVE and POWERFUL
