Well, the fall schedules are released around the middle of the month, so... if all else fails and NA is on it (or not), then you know... assuming it's not a mid-season show again.

If its a mid season decision, so it would be in June and not May? I need to hear an announcement soon.

ABC and the CW announce their fall schedules Tuesday (May 13). CBS follows on Wednesday (May 14), and FOX on Thursday (May 15).
Monday, May 12: NBC announced its prime time schedule four weeks ago, so its day in the spotlight is reserved for, appropriately enough, a “spotlight event.” In an interactive walk-through environment, media buyers will be shown all the assets of NBC Universal — cable networks, Web sites, international products — beyond the broadcast network. Ben Silverman, the co-chair of NBC Entertainment, has been meeting with advertisers throughout April. “We’ve started to do some interesting negotiations,” he said at an advertising conference on Tuesday, adding that some deals were already in the works.
Tuesday, May 13: ABC will hold a shorter-than-usual upfront presentation at Lincoln Center. ABC representatives say that guests should anticipate a more business-minded meeting than in previous years. (Translation: Don’t expect to see Stephen McPherson, the president of ABC Entertainment, doing the tango with a “Dancing With the Stars” contestant, as has happened in the past.) With the majority of the network’s shows returning in the fall, stars won’t be in attendance and a red carpet won’t be rolled out. The show will last 30 to 45 minutes (much shorter than in previous years) and will not be followed by a party. That evening, the CW will also hold an event.
Wednesday, May 14: CBS is calling its Carnegie Hall upfront a “programming and advertising presentation.” “This year we’ll be presenting a different kind of CBS Corporation, with the network as the centerpiece but also with a highly appealing array of additional vehicles through which advertisers can effectively reach their companies,” Les Moonves, the chief executive of CBS Corporation, told investors on Tuesday. The network will forgo its post-presentation party.
[Thursday], May 15: Fox will hold its afternoon upfront at the City Center theater. Unlike the other networks, it is not making changes. “Fox will be presenting our upfront the same way we presented it last year,” a spokesman said. A party will follow at Wollman Rink in Central Park.
